With faith in the Resurrection, we remember the falling asleep in the Lord of Janette Salim Faran, beloved aunt of Samera Wazir.
A 40-Day Memorial Mass in her loving memory will be celebrated at Saint Simeon Stylites Melkite Catholic Church on Sunday, October 19, at 11:00 a.m
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones, praying that the Lord grant them peace, comfort, and strength during this time of remembrance.
May her memory be eternal.

سيُقام قدّاس الأربعين عن راحة نفسها في كنيسة مار سمعان العمودي للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك، وذلك يوم الأحد الواقع في 19 تشرين الأول، الساعة 11:00 صباحًا.
نتقدّم بأحرّ التعازي إلى عائلتها وأحبّائها، سائلين الرب أن يمنحهم التعزية والسلام.

As a Melkite parish, we preserve and worship in the traditional Greek Byzantine way, keeping the history and tradition tied to our faith. Simply put, just as the Lord’s word and scripture stays constant, we too are committed to passing on the tradition of the generations of ancient Christianity that has been passed on to us till this day.
About us
Saint Simeon Stylites Melkite Catholic Church is a parish community located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada led by Father Gerard Abi Saab who played a key role in the founding of the church in 2014. Currently, the parish consists of many families of all backgrounds and cultures. Divine Liturgy is served in English, Arabic, and a hybrid of the two languages, serving the local community as well as the traditional Levantine community. We follow the traditional Byzantine Greek Catholic traditions, preserving the faith as it was brought to us from generations ago.
All are welcome to our parish, from all cultures, from all communities, no matter the differences. We welcome you to attend our Saturday and Sunday Divine Liturgies.
